Postscript on Asics Golf Shoes

After yesterday’s speculation about Shingo K’s golf shoes – adapted running or walking shoes or just plain ones available to you & me… I had another go at the Japanese website and found these!  Tee 113 they’re called.  I know nothing else about them as I still don’t do Japanese reading!
But how dull can you get!  If you look at Asics’ other shoes they are ambitious in everything – styling, techology, colours!  But these could be the dullest golf shoes on earth from a looks point of view.  No wonder Shingo has gone for the ones he does wear – he wants to show-case the company not the opposite – whatever that may be called!
